Adonis Blue is jazz, folk, a bit of country and Americana all blended together and served with a slice of lemon. We are all musicians who love the artistry of our instruments and creating new and tasty sounds. Our set lists consist of new and old jazz standards, some tried and true covers incognito, and originals as the muse brings them. So, come along, sit back, grab a glass of wine and chill... |

Kiersten Rose is a country girl at heart, but feels just at home in center of the city. Her musical influences began when her mom and dad, drummer John Rose, took her to gigs at a very early age surrounding her with jazz, rock, blues. But she took up classical piano at age six which continued into her early 20's. After a short stint operating her own dessert catering business, she dove back into music, but this time it was the jazz genre that stole her heart. She's currently finishing her degree from Webster University in Jazz Studies. She began composing at age 10, and has produced two albums of original songs with a third in process. Her newest prize is Pearl, a 75 year old restored 12 bass accordion she's hoping to show off with Adonis Blue. She also performs regularly as a solo artist, leads worship with various churches, and teaches piano, voice and composition at her own studio. |
