Bio

As a new Contemporary Christian music artist, Kiersten Rose Venezia has a special gift for writing and performing songs that reflect her rich life experiences as a Christian, wife, mother, and friend. Her debut album, "Good Promises", is a myriad of songs that present a positive message of faith, hope, and love. From a spiritual perspective, Kiersten's songs are a celebration of love, a reminder of God's faithfulness, and a call to worship this wonderful Savior.

"I still get surprised by this God who continues to do miracles around us daily. This album brings that
message, that none of God's promises will ever fail to be, they will all be fulfilled (Joshua 21:45, 23:14).
He promises those who will trust Him a life to the fullest! This inspires me and helps me hang in there
on days when I don't necessarily feel it. I've seen God work in amazing ways through my personal
trials, my marriage, and in the lives of many friends around me. I hope these songs help inspire you too."

Kiersten grew up in the St. Louis area and was surrounded by music her entire life. Born into a family of musicians, she began playing the piano at age five. By the age of ten, she was an accomplished pianist and won a national award for her first composition. She went on to study classical and jazz piano in college, but put her career on hold to raise a family. Yet through these years, she felt a direction beginning to take place for her music. While her family moved to a few different cities for job reasons, Kiersten gained valuable experiences playing, writing, and leading worship at various churches. These served to develop in her a broader range of taste and styles, which give her the unique sound she has today. Her musical influences include Sara Groves, Jennifer Knapp, Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, Watermark, and Shawn Colvin.

Kiersten is married to Guy, who is a physician and also serves as her manager. They have two children who also share a love for music. They have recently relocated to the St. Louis area, where they both have their roots.

Kiersten's dreams of some day being able to share her music with a wider audience became a reality when in the fall of 2003 she met up with Andy Beeny, owner of Crossroad's Recording Studio in St. Charles, Missouri. The hard work in the studio has paid off with the release of "Good Promises" in November, 2005.
